Pierre Lainé Appointed Contracts Manager at Firesafe

We are pleased to announce the appointment of Pierre Lainé as Contracts Manager, who brings with him an extensive background in fire safety management.

Pierre's career in fire safety began in 1997 when he joined the Guernsey Fire & Rescue Service. Over 22 years he undertook several roles, including Firefighter, Crew Commander, Head of Fire Safety, and Head of Operations. Notably, he led critical fire safety initiatives for the Island involving the safety of both the community and construction projects.

Following the GFRS Pierre held the role of Manager of Waste & Environment Monitoring for States Works. In this capacity, he oversaw the Environmental Monitoring Team, managing operations across diverse sites with a keen eye on sustainability and regulatory compliance.

More recently Pierre joined States Health & Social Care as Fire Safety Technical Advisor, further enhancing his understanding of regulatory frameworks and operational requirements in fire safety.

2024 sees Pierre welcomed to Firesafe, where his technical knowledge and hands-on experience will add to our teams’ capabilities. His appointment underlines our commitment to leading the passive fire protection market in Guernsey, and the wider Channel Islands, by providing unparalleled fire safety solutions and services to clients.
